Vent.X Tips – Designing the throw pattern of the ROX nozzle duct

ROX nozzle ducts are intended for bringing large amounts of supply air into the room without the feeling of draft. ROX’s directable nozzles enable different throw patterns, which can be selected in the Vent.X design program.

From the Throw patterns menu, you can choose the positions of the nozzles for the 50 cm long segments of the nozzle duct, which change the direction of the airflow against the ceiling. By changing the position of the nozzles, a long, short or side-directed throw pattern can be set for each ROX segment or the entire nozzle duct. The airflows of all parts of the ROX nozzle duct assembly can be set in the same direction from the Turn all button.

You can easily check that there will be no draft in the living zone by selecting different air velocities to be displayed in the simulation window. The success of a good ventilation solution and good indoor air conditions can be studied in more detail on the Analysis tab.

OptiLumo luminaires for hoods and ventilation ceilings are perfect for professional kitchens and offer particularly suitable lighting for kitchens and the ideal color temperature for cooking.
