EcoVadis is an internationally recognized sustainability assessment system that examines companies in four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable sourcing. Based on the assessment, Climecon is now in the top 14 percent of the companies assessed – we increased our result by 11 percent from the previous year. In addition, we represent the top 5% of the general-purpose machinery manufacturing industry. The silver medal is a sign of systematic and long-term sustainability work.
With a forerunner mindset towards a more sustainable future
The rise from bronze to silver in a year shows Climecon’s ability to tackle development targets and drive forward sustainability work with determination.
“Sustainability requirements in the construction sector are growing, and so are our goals. It is not about individual measures, but a comprehensive change in which sustainability is truly part of the business strategy,” says sustainability specialist Emma Piha.
Climecon wants to continue to be a trendsetter in sustainability – and the silver EcoVadis rating is strong proof that we are on the right track.
