Climecon has been awarded EcoVadis bronze medal in recognition of sustainability efforts

Climecon has been awarded the bronze medal of the EcoVadis responsibility rating system. EcoVadis evaluates 21 sustainable development criteria in four categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethical business principles and responsible procurement. We are ranked in the top 25 % and got excellent points regarding environmental responsibility. EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted supplier of business responsibility ratings.

Climecon’s first evaluation was made in 2024

“EcoVadis’ bronze rating reflects our entire organization’s commitment to responsibility. We are a responsible forerunner in the ventilation industry, and developing the future with responsible building technology,” CEO Tommi Uksila says.

With the EcoVadis assessment, we develop and direct responsibility actions where those are needed. The tool also offers a way to compare your performance with other players in the field. “We decided to do the EcoVadis assessment to get an independent evaluation of the success of our sustainability work and to find ways to improve our operations further. The bronze medal shows that we are on the right track and encourages us to continue our ambitious sustainability work,” sums up our sustainability specialist Emma Piha.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest producer of corporate responsibility evaluations, having evaluated the responsibility work of more than 130,000 companies from more than 220 industries and 180 countries. EcoVadis’ evaluation criteria are based on the world’s leading standards guiding sustainable development, such as the GRI index, UNGC, and ISO 26000. The company’s level of responsibility is evaluated on a scale of 0 to 100.
