Strongly Nordic and responsible

At Climecon, we design and manufacture our products in Finland at our factories in Kausala and Pihtipudas. We also use Finnish subcontractors. We are a significant employer locally and, for example, our factory in Kausala employs about 35 people. The factories are also home to some of our product development team. The Pihtipudas factory manufactures products mainly for air purification and professional kitchens all the way from Finnish markets to the Middle East.

In recent years, Kausala has taken giant development steps: the factory has grown with a new wing, and the equipment has been renewed with efficiency and sustainability at the forefront. As a result of increased demand, the factory’s capacity has also been increased by investing in advanced production technologies and more efficient production lines. Modern technology also plays a role in minimizing waste material and improving quality.

In line with Climecon’s carbon neutrality targets, factories’ share of the company’s carbon footprint has been reduced, for example, by replacing forklifts with electric ones and introducing LED lights. Environmental friendliness was also the starting point for the solar power plant built on the roof of the Kausala factory in 2021, which produces about 20% of the energy the plant uses.

We have both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 quality and environmental standards we adhere to.

We take care of people and the environment

At the Kausala factory, you can find Climecon employees with long careers in our company. For example, Teppo Soini, the manager of the Kausala factory, has worked at Climecon for a long time. Over the course of fifteen years, he has held many roles, including a role in product development. Teppo describes the atmosphere as factual and relaxed. “We have a strong and tight-knit work community here, where everyone can learn from one another. Everyone has the opportunity to make a difference,” Teppo says.

One of the most familiar faces at our factory in Kausala is Marre, who is celebrating her 25th anniversary at Climecon this year. Marre has held several different positions and progressed in her duties throughout her career, and she says that diverse tasks and a good team are significant factors in her own enjoyment.

We are particularly proud of our Finnish origin. We want to maintain our expertise, the uncompromising quality of our work, and the manufacture of our products in Finnish hands. We offer an inspiring work community and platform for development. We are known for our amazing vibes and attitude toward getting things done.

A carbon footprint must be calculated for the project to obtain a building permit. Therefore, by choosing products with EPDs, contractee, designer, or contractor can easier fulfill the legal requirements.
