Get to know: Cost estimator Laura Hämäläinen

Laura has worked as a cost estimator for a few years, bringing younger energy to the Climecon team. Her work includes calculating quotes, providing customer service, and supporting the sales team, especially in customer communication. Laura, who studied marketing in the United States, also helps the marketing team whenever needed. Meet the sunny and cheerful Laura!

Right after high school, Laura headed to the United States for college to learn a new culture, increase her language skills, and become more independent. She spent five years in the U.S., including a year experiencing American work life. After returning to Finland, she quickly found her way to Climecon. Time has gone by in a flash in a good team. “Everyone on the sales team is really nice, and I like that everyone encourages each other and things are handled smoothly,” Laura describes. “It’s been nice to get to do marketing-related tasks as well, and it’s great that opportunities are offered here according to your interests,” she continues.

Laura is motivated by the desire to work with interesting products. “Climecon’s design is top-notch, which I like. After several years living in the United States, I have also learned to appreciate that the purity of nature is taken care of in the Nordic countries. Climecon is a great example of a company that invests in responsibility and product design,” she says.

Laura, originally from Helsinki but raised in Lahti, spends her free time working out. Volleyball, which she played competitively at a young age, remains an important part of her life, and she enjoys playing on the court a few times a week. She also considers traveling as one of her hobbies, and she does it whenever she gets the chance.
