The apartment’s interior architect was Teemu Saukkonen, who is also behind the design of our VIVA grille collection. The collection provides architects with a solution for the visual finishing of modern objects in terms of ventilation products without compromising technical functionality.

Showy ensembles with a strip-like installation

VIVA is generally seen more in offices or other public spaces but can also work well in apartments. The VIVA collection is also designed for strip-like installations, meaning they can be extended into a harmonious whole with the help of blind slatted parts. This way, identical devices intended for supply and exhaust air can be brought into the space as a single line.

In this apartment, VIVA-S grilles were installed on the front surfaces to minimize the number of seams. Behind the strip-like installations are supply air, exhaust air, and air conditioning, all elegantly behind the same slatted part. VIVA-F louvers recessed into the ceiling were also installed in connection with the air conditioners. VIVA’s technical superiority had not gone unnoticed by the apartment owners.

“You can clearly see the difference in ventilation. The air in the apartment is really fresh and clean.”

Sleek end result

Unity was sought using consistent shapes and colors throughout the apartment. Builder and interior architect Teemu Saukkonen had been looking for a stylish grille over the radiators for a long time, and VIVA’s design was the inspiration behind the radiator covers. Natural tones and materials run through the line, creating a harmonious atmosphere. The exact shade of paint has been used on the furniture, walls, and ceiling.
