Opis
The system monitors kitchen air quality in real time, around the clock. The OptiDemand sensor measures indoor air in the kitchen using several variables, providing reliable information on the kitchen’s utilization rate. The sensors track occupancy, temperature, humidity, fine particles, TVOC levels, and carbon dioxide. Based on workstation-specific information, ventilation can be adjusted in real time as needed. The local adjustments are seamlessly combined with control of the building’s ventilation system. With overall control, the ventilation works at optimal power in all situations, resulting in significant energy savings.
Climecon’s hoods and ventilation ceilings, combined with the intelligent OptiDemand DCKV system, meet the requirements of the most demanding sustainable building projects, such as LEED, BREEAM, and other national certifications. They are also suitable for other certified buildings.
Data benefits ventilation control
Energy savings in many spaces
OptiDemand’s demand-controlled ventilation achieves great savings in all rooms where exhaust air contains impurities. Applicable sites include kitchens, warehouses, production facilities, and industrial environments.
The savings potential consists of three factors:
- Reduced energy consumption of the ventilation unit
- Heating energy savings
- Cooling energy savings
